Property valuation is the determination of the value of objects (movable/immovable) for a specific purpose based on objective market influence factors. This term means that the valuation if performed objectively, independently, and taking into account the adequate cost established on the basis of data on the valuation object. Property includes only those items that are legally owned by an individual or a legal entity. The valuation process is governed by the laws of Ukraine, including the Law 2001 No. 47, Art. 251 “On the valuation of property, property rights and professional valuation activities”.
